On National Youth Day, a reminder that India's students don't lack ambition: they lack systems that move at their speed. Our job is to get out of their way.
"Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached." So said Swami Vivekananda, whose birthday we mark today.
National Youth Day belongs to the millions of young Indians in classrooms right now. They do not lack ambition; too often they lack systems that move at their speed: a transcript that takes a week, a fee receipt that needs four queues, a query that goes unanswered.
When a campus runs smoothly, students spend their energy on what matters: learning, building, becoming. That is why we obsess over the boring stuff: so students never have to.
India's youth are ready to lead. Our job is simply to get out of their way.
To every student reading this: the future is not something you wait for; it is something you build. We are cheering you on.
